I get to ride my bike. In fact, I get to ride my bike whenever I want and wherever I want (within legal means, of course). There is no question in my mind that I have this right or privilege. And, there’s nothing in my current line of sight that makes me think that is going to be taken away any time soon.

I competed in the Sprint race that went off at 7:06 in one wave for women after the 7:00 am and 7:03 waves for the men (438 finishers total). Decided to try new things in this early season by going as hard as I could for each leg and starting nears the front for the swim wave (instead of my usual back and side).

 

Started at the front and side of the swim wave (beach start). Didn't realize there were over 200 of us! A lot of argy bargy but no one were too aggressive. Couldn't reall...

Announcing the 2015 Liv Chix Cycling Team for Marin and the Bay Area

As a Liv Cycling team we will offer female cyclists great workouts at our monthly rides, great cycling-specific events, and great skills clinics, all focused on our mission of getting girls and women active and outside.
